How it works

Personalise your gift

Tell us where you would like the socks to be sent, and when the first box should be shipped.

We can even send the first box to you, so you can hand it over in person, or we can send it directly to the recipient with a “Don’t open until…” message on the packaging.

Enter a personal gift message and we will print it on a message card that will be placed inside the first box, and include it on your gift certificate which you can give to the lucky recipient before their first delivery.

Your questions

Your first box will be sent out on the date that you select when you place your order, with next working day dispatch available. Subsequent boxes will be sent on a monthly schedule on or around the 7th or 21st day of the month, so the time between the first and second box being sent may be slightly less or more than one month.
All boxes are sent out with free delivery via Royal Mail’s 2nd Class post service which covers the whole of the UK (including islands and highlands), but not the rest of the world. The vast majority of boxes are delivered within 2 working days, but sometimes they may take a little longer to arrive. We will notify you when each box is dispatched, but please note that there is no tracking service after this.
No – there is no need for a signature and the boxes will fit through a standard letterbox. As a guide, the boxes with one pair of socks are the size of one compliment slip and the boxes with two pairs of socks are the size of 2 compliment slips side-by-side - the height of the boxes is 2cm.
Yes you can. Sign in to your account and go to the subscription you want to modify. To delay the next box, click on “Change shipping date” and you will be able to delay when we send the next box by up to 3 months. To deliver the next box (and any future boxes) to a different location, simply click on “Change delivery address” and enter the new address details. You can also contact us at any time, and we will make these changes for you.
The men’s socks are a UK size 7-11 (EU size 41-45) and the women’s socks are a UK size 4-7 (EU size 37-40).
Our socks are bamboo socks. They contain high-grade bamboo viscose, nylon and elastane (to make them stretchy).
The socks that are sent out for each subscription are predetermined, and cannot be individually selected or changed. All the socks that we send in our subscription boxes have been designed exclusively for us, and we have spent a lot of time to ensure that they have a consistent design sensibility, but are also different enough from month to month to keep things interesting. If you are not happy with a specific sock design, just get in touch and we will be happy to replace it.
Absolutely – this is a common request and so we have designed our site so that you can let us know one delivery address for the first box and then a different delivery address for all the subsequent boxes when you set up your subscription.
Yes! We have included an option for you to add a “Don’t open until…” message for your chosen date. This message will be clearly printed on the address label on the first box, which will also be sent out in plain packaging so your gift remains a secret.
Definitely not! Our gift subscriptions last for as long as you specify and pay for at the start. There are no more boxes sent after this and there is no more to pay.
