At Socks In A Box, we have monthly rolling sock subscriptions for men or women with the option of one or two pairs delivered each month.

Plus we have couples’ subscriptions with one pair each in any combination of men’s socks and women’s socks.

You have the option of subscribing on a month-to-month basis, or save by paying in advance for 6 months.

Your questions

Your first box will be sent out on the date that you select when you place your order, with next working day dispatch available. Subsequent boxes will be sent on a monthly schedule on or around the 7th or 21st day of the month, so the time between the first and second box being sent may be slightly less or more than one month.
All boxes are sent out with free delivery via Royal Mail’s 2nd Class post service which covers the whole of the UK (including islands and highlands), but not the rest of the world. The vast majority of boxes are delivered within 2 working days, but sometimes they may take a little longer to arrive. We will notify you when each box is dispatched, but please note that there is no tracking service after this.
No – there is no need for a signature and the boxes will fit through a standard letterbox. As a guide, the boxes with one pair of socks are the size of one compliment slip and the boxes with two pairs of socks are the size of 2 compliment slips side-by-side - the height of the boxes is 2cm.
Yes you can. Sign in to your account and go to the subscription you want to modify. To delay the next box, click on “Change shipping date” and you will be able to delay when we send the next box by up to 3 months. To deliver the next box (and any future boxes) to a different location, simply click on “Change delivery address” and enter the new address details. You can also contact us at any time, and we will make these changes for you.
The men’s socks are a UK size 7-11 (EU size 41-45) and the women’s socks are a UK size 4-7 (EU size 37-40).
Our socks are bamboo socks. They contain high-grade bamboo viscose, nylon and elastane (to make them stretchy).
The socks that are sent out for each subscription are predetermined, and cannot be individually selected or changed. All the socks that we send in our subscription boxes have been designed exclusively for us, and we have spent a lot of time to ensure that they have a consistent design sensibility, but are also different enough from month to month to keep things interesting. If you are not happy with a specific sock design, just get in touch and we will be happy to replace it.
Yes you can. Sign in to your account and go to the subscription for which you wish to change the payment method. Click “Change card” and enter the details of the new payment card, or select a card you have already saved with us. Please note that the payment method is per subscription, so if you have more than one recurring subscription with us that you would like to update, please change the card on each subscription separately.
We never like to see our customers go, of course. If there is a problem please contact us first as we are sure we can sort it out. If you are sure you want to cancel, simply sign in to your account, select the subscription and select “Modify plan” - you can cancel your subscription there and we will not charge your card again. Any boxes that are still due to be sent out as part of your plan will be dispatched on the same schedule your subscription will not be renewed.
